Systems aren’t corrupt, people are

Election after election, we attest to be the most ambitions people. Politicians keep feeding us with senseless manifestos of which they are hardly held accountable with, not even by our media which like its audience suffers a  strain of amnesia.

Whatever that makes a person corrupt, we always wonder? They say money corrupts. Others say that it is ambition and greed for material gain? I say it is integrity; a never-ending test which can only be upheld discerningly.

Therefore: -“Systems are not corrupt, governments aren’t corrupt, and organizations aren’t corrupt. People are. ” comments a blogger,  Coalesce. If we are corrupt as individuals with little regard for truth, it wouldn’t matter how much we detest our politicians or systems of governance. Come the ballot vote time, we simply would “… replace the last batch of corrupt individuals with a new batch of corrupt individuals.” Coalesce

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.” – Lincoln
